About Us
We are a fast-growing organization expanding our footprint across Africa and the Middle East, we’re now launching operations in Egypt.
We’re seeking a motivated and autonomous Finance & Accounting Officer to help set up and manage our Egyptian entity while coordinating financial operations across multiple countries. This is a hands-on role that offers the opportunity to take ownership, make an impact, and grow with a dynamic, entrepreneurial team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all finance and accounting functions for the Egypt entity.
- Handle invoicing, supplier payments, tax declarations, and financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with Egyptian financial, tax, and legal regulations.
- Manage all intercompany financial flows and reconciliations.
- Use and maintain the Odoo ERP system for accounting, reporting, and consolidation.
- Prepare and support audits, financial forecasts, and management reports.
- Contribute to budgeting, cash flow management, and cost control.
- Identify and leverage tax optimization opportunities within compliance boundaries.
- Work closely with the Dubai headquarters to align financial reporting and operations.
- Support the administrative and financial aspects of projects in Egypt.
- Provide insights and assistance in structuring the new Egyptian legal entity.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or equivalent certification preferred).
- Proven experience with Odoo (mandatory).
- Strong understanding of Egyptian accounting standards, tax, and compliance regulations.
- Experience managing intercompany accounting and consolidation.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent in Arabic and English (spoken and written).
- Highly responsive, able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrates loyalty, confidentiality, and integrity at all times.
- Self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
- Flexibility to travel within Egypt as required.
